My love for food developed from a young age; helping my Mum in the kitchen to cook delicious, wholesome meals for the family certainly set me off on my nutrition journey.
While studying for my degree in Bsc(Hons) Biological Sciences, I found myself experimenting in the kitchen more and more. I recognised the importance of fuelling my body with energy boosting meals but felt unsure on how to put my passion into practice. Soon after graduating, I found a course in Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and I haven’t looked back since. I am now a practising Nutritional Therapist offering holistic diet and lifestyle advice and support to my clients.
At home, my food is always simple to prepare but really tasty; I like to experiment with new dishes but also have old favourites that I have updated to healthier versions so I don’t ever feel limited or restricted by what I can eat. I include all types of food as long as they are whole foods, organic, local and seasonal where possible.
